Environmentalists favoring wilderness protection for
ancient forests will convene at Headwaters’ 8th annual Western
Forest Activists Conference in Ashland, Ore., Feb. 5-7. Speakers
include Agnes Pilgrim, a Rogue Band Takilma elder, who works to
preserve the role of native women in traditional land management.
