Visiting Nutria Group Bath

Visiting Nutria Group Bath

This group of three nutria youngsters appeared on our farm in Sweet Home, Oregon in January of 2016. They were rolling about in runoff water from a drain pipe. I normally start grape vine cuttings at this time of year, and keep them wet in the drainage area. The nutria also managed to pull out all the tags from the cuttings in pots. The lead nutria coming out of the water was slightly aggressive, and was nicknamed Yosemite Sam.
