Earth's Flow

Earth's Flow

Late summer monsoons drench the Colorado Plateau in a torrent of overland flow. The Little Colorado River picks up much of the silt enriched water in a muddy slurry. The dramatic nature of the river of mud is glorified at sunset at Grand Falls. The mud of Earth is swiftly excavated towards the Colorado River in Marble Canyon Clean water in the arid southwest is a rarity, water is beauty and power.
