Natural gas is often touted as a “bridge fuel” that will help us transition from coal and oil to renewable energy. For the latest edition of Sounds of the High Country, though, Nelson Harvey spoke with High Country News Senior Editor Jonathan Thompson about whether leaky infrastructure could make natural gas as bad or worse for the climate than the dirtier fuels it’s replacing.
