The greater sage grouse and its habitat are in jeopardy. And, people from all over the West are working hard to keep the bird off the Endangered Species List. In the current edition of the High Country News, senior editor Jodi Peterson takes readers on an in-depth journey to find out more about the bird and what she calls the biggest conservation experiment in the history of the Endangered Species Act. KDNK's Amy Hadden Marsh talked to Peterson for last week's Sounds of the High Country.
