Note the area in Nevada, to the NorthWest, comprising the majority of "The Great Basin".
If Pacific Ocean water was imported into the basin, and sprayed above the playas, then CO2 would be sequestered,
and the evporated H2O would proceed, cloud-wise for the most part, downwind above the Colorado Rive drainage area,
and likely produce significantly more rainfall.
(The Great Basin has an approx 50 inch/year water demand...)
