Wildlife artist Bob Kuhn passed away in 2007, leaving behind some of the finest paintings of wild animals ever created. Now, Adam Duncan Harris, curator of the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyo., has collected hundreds of Kuhn's sketches and paintings into one generous volume. Bob Kuhn: Drawing on Instinct also contains a biography of the artist, along with essays by various experts on American art. Supple and vibrant, Kuhn's works capture the very essence of wild creatures, including moose, river otter and black bear.
