  Cohabiting in Yellowstone

While wolves dominate the news, another predator takes top billing at the Yellowstone Grizzly Foundation's annual summit June 2-3 in Jackson, Wyo. Participants at the conference Bears and Ecosystems: A Period of Transition will discuss ongoing research and how grizzlies are adapting to the return of wolves to Yellowstone National Park. Speakers include Tom France, legal counsel for the National Wildlife Federation, and Steve and Marilynn French, grizzly bear researchers and photographers who established the Grizzly Bear Foundation. Co-sponsor is the Teton Science School of Kelly, Wyo.; for more information, contact the foundation at 104 Hillside Court, Boulder, CO 80302 (303/939-8126).
