A well near Pinedale, Wyoming burns the chemical compounds found in fracking fluids, including sodium pentaborate decahydrate, lithium decahydrate and potassium chloride. Although new state controls on flaring took effect last July, Walker has warned Wyoming officials that flaring incidents are up.
