The Pombo petting zoo

Document Actions
I propose we designate the "Rich Pombo Memorial Arctic Petting Zoo." Rep. Pombo should be given a sealskin coat and "invited" to dedicate the facility by hand-feeding the polar bears.

Pombo has single-handedly voiced more schemes to eradicate what America truly stands for than any other person ever to sit in Congress (HCN, 10/17/05: Pombo takes on the Endangered Species Act).

George W. Bush is not waging a war on global terrorism, but at home on democracy, the environment, and public ownership of lands or resources.

Pombo is this administration’s James Watt, a lightning rod of outrageous behavior to distract us from what is happening beneath the surface, and away from the scrutiny of the public.

At the rate they are going, it will be difficult to find even one ice floe to dedicate to Pombo.
