It's over between us

I’m sorry to hear your board of directors gave you "a ringing endorsement" of your current editorial direction. It is for just that reason I’m letting my subscription lapse. I’ve been bothered by the increasingly strident and anti-Republican tone of your periodical as well as the sophomoric stereotyping of your articles. The confirmation you intend to continue this policy only reinforces my decision. If I want to read Bush-bashing, there are many other magazines more adept at it than you.

I’m afraid you’ve given up an important niche in spanning the divide between those of divergent opinions. It is a sophisticated position of balance you used to occupy, but no longer.
