Targhee National Forest

Recent road closures on Idaho's Targhee National Forest, intended to protect grizzly bear habitat, have stirred up massive local resistance. The forest is taking public comments through Feb.1 on a draft environmental impact statement for a plan to guide off-road vehicle use on forest roads and trails.
