Queen's Crown Flowers at Summit Lake, Colorado

At 12,830 feet altitude, Summit Lake sits near the road to the top of 14,240 foot Mt Evans in Colorado. This high alpine lake is surrounded by wildflowers. It is frequently visited by the local wildlife such as, bighorn sheep, Rocky Mountain goats, and marmots, as well as, the distant wildlife (tourists).
