6,000 years without enviro laws

Jonathan Thompson | Jul 08, 2009 04:04 PM

See, we need to mine uranium because there were no environmental laws around 6,000 years ago, when the earth was created. At least I think that's what Arizona State Sen. Sylvia Allen, R, is saying in this video clip. Huh?

No environmental laws

Scary! Very Scary!

Also along these lines I recently heard of a poll in which 22% of respondents were quite sure that The Second Coming would be within 50 years and another 22% thought it *might* happen within the next 50 years. Doesn’t provide much impetus for dealing with our environmental problems.

Sorry to be so pessimistic.
