Why register as a Party Host? Well, besides fulfilling your overwhelming desire to champion your favorite magazine of the West, we have a couple of incentives for you – our 40th Anniversary Party Host:

Each Party Host is eligible to win one of our two party contest prizes:
- For the party that helps to grow the community of people who care about the West by bringing in the most new subscribers, (including new AND lapsed subscribers), the host and his/her party will be profiled in the magazine’s Community pages.
- For the party that helps HCN have the financial resources for on-the-ground reporting by bringing in the most donations (per-capita), the host will win a personal visit from one or more of the following HCN staff members: Senior Editor Ray Ring, Editor Jonathan Thompson, or Executive Director Paul Larmer. Pick their brains, bend their ears, share your story ideas, and invite your neighbors over to participate in an informal discussion about issues with these great Western thinkers.
